ADMISSION NOTIFICATION FOR M.A./ M.Sc./ M.Com: 2025-2026

Vide Ref. No. VU/PG/292/25 dated 10.10.2025 of Vidyasagar University

 

Applications are being invited for admission to M.A./ M.Sc./ M.Com. 2025-26 in Bengali, English, Sanskrit, Physics, Chemistry, and Commerce from candidates who have passed B.A./B.Sc./B.Com (Hons) in the subjects mentioned above in the vacant seats. The candidates will have to fill up the Application Form only through the ONLINE ADMISSION PORTAL (https://admission.pkcollegecontai.ac.in) of the college website (https://pkcollegecontai.ac.in).

 

• Eligibility: Students who have completed Honours Courses in respective subjects in 2025, 2024, or 2023 are eligible to apply. However, at the time of counseling-cum-admission, if selected, they (whose results are yet to be published) will have to show the original mark sheets of final examinations (Part-III/ VI SEM.), failing of which their candidature will be rejected summarily.

 

• The minimum marks being considered under all Category (I & II) :

M.A./ M.Sc/ M.Com:

45% marks in respective Hons. subject (for Gen. Candidates)
40% marks in respective Hons. subject (for SC / ST/OBC/PWD Candidates)

 

• The date of submission of the Admission Form (online) will commence on: 14.10.2025 (after 12-00 noon)

• Last date of submission of Application Form (online): 18.10.2025 up to 11-59 p.m.

 

** Forms with incomplete/wrong information or fake degrees from fake University/ Institute will be rejected summarily without any intimation through e-mail or SMS or any kind of notice therein.
